The Hope Lies in the Young Generation

The future of our planet rests in the hands of the youngest among us. In today’s world, caring for the environment is becoming increasingly important. To introduce the young generation to the fascinating world of ecology, on February 9, 2024, as part of the “Fairy Tale Winter Break” organized by the Provincial and Municipal Public Library in Rzeszów, we had the pleasure of conducting ecological workshops for children.

Together, we explored the secrets of recycling rubber, e-waste, paper, and steel.

Through presentations, educational films, and engaging activities, participants had the opportunity to understand what happens to various types of waste. How can old phones, newspapers, cans, or tires be given a second life? The experience was enhanced by props, allowing the youngest participants to see real objects that underwent recycling processes and found new applications.

We thank the Provincial and Municipal Public Library in Rzeszów for inviting us and the young environmental enthusiasts for their involvement and openness to learning.

We hope that the knowledge they gained will help them create a better future for our Earth.
